Kristin Hersh
She’s been a very important figure in the rock music since 20 years now. That woman combines, with perfection, rock life, mother/family life and integrity. Surely one of the sweetest person I’ve ever met through taking pictures of artists. I’ve been a big fan of her work for many years now and this was magic to meet her (mediocre portraits to be posted soon…). She was on stage with The MacCarricks and the rest of 50 Foot Wave (Bernard Georges on bass and Rob Ahlers on drums). It’s obvious she misses “L’~” though. The show was really good anyway. The days before playing Aarhus she was very sick and that night it seemed she was recovering quite well.
A fantastic woman and a fabulous artist. She has a maturity about music and life that probably only very few people will ever reach in their whole life. Anyone who pretends to rock should read her bio… at least to put things in perspectives… at least.

Dans la mesure où les auvergnats ne reconnaissent pas non plus ma ville, je me retrouve un peu apatride, j’ai l’impression…
